Ideas for action

Understanding Cube calculation

Each week, the person in charge of the community adds up the Energy Cubes collected by his or her community. To do this, he or she registers the Cubes accumulated by participants individually (in their place of residence) and as a group (during activities organized by the community) on the Planet Cube site. La The deadline for registering Cubes on Planet Cube is May 26th, 2025.

Planet Cube VS Calcul-o-Cube VS Community Leader Sheet

  • Planète Cube is the website where you register your total number of Cubes collected during the Challenge. It enables communication between the person responsible for the community and the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie.
  • The Community Leader Sheet is a paper-based tool designed to help you calculate your community’s Cubes.
  • The Calcul-o-Cube is a dynamic numerical spreadsheet that enables communication between the person responsible for the community Challenge and other staff members. This dynamic spreadsheet is the equivalent of the Community Leader Sheet. So you can use either one or the other. Calcul-o-Cube allows staff members to enter their total number of Cubes for their group of seniors and send it directly to the person responsible for the facility’s Challenge.

Discover Calcul-o-Cube, an easy-to-use tool

Using our Calcul-o-Cube, you can keep track of the number of Energy Cubes you’ve accumulated directly online. In short, it’s a dynamic digital spreadsheet. Here’s how to use it:

  1. The person responsible for the community goes to the Calcul-o-Cube page and creates a calculator for his or her center. No authentication is required.
  2. The person responsible for the community then creates sections for each group.
  3. The person in charge of the community must then share the calculator with each member of staff responsible for a group of seniors. This unique link should be treasured!
  4. Every week, each group leader must complete his or her section, adding the number of Energy Cubes accumulated by his or her group of seniors. The center’s total will be calculated automatically, and groups who have not completed their section will be easily identifiable!
  5. At the end of the Challenge, total figures must be transferred to the Planet Cube site by the person responsible for the community before May 26th.
  6. IMPORTANT: The Calcul-o-Cube worksheet and the Planète Cube website do not communicate with each other.
